Strengthening the Family Bond Through Taekwon-Do
Thesis for VII Dan
Ken MacKenzie , Canada
Some of the most common reasons that one chooses to join Taekwon-Do
include the desire to learn self-defense, become more physically fit, and to
enjoy it as a sport. Quite often, it is for only one of these reasons that they
initially decide to give it a try. However, as their training progresses, the
interest in all of these benefits begins to develop. My belief is that a very
important benefit of training in martial arts and Taekwon-Do is confidence.
This applies to both children and adults and can be a life changing benefit.
